Your Choices Matter

Making sustainable and regenerative choices have a huge impact on your personal health and the economic health of your local community.

Supporting small local farmers keeps our food system
nutritious, resilient, and diverse.

How to Start:

  • Buy from local sustainable farmers

  • Join a CSA or meat CSA

  • Look for Animal Welfare Approved, Certified Humane, G.A.P., Certified Organic, and Certified Regenerative Organic food labels at your local co-op, local grocery store, or farmers market.

  • Look for certified Grass-fed products, grass-fed, or pasture-raised products

  • Shop at local butcher shops who support sustainable and regenerative farming practices

  • Start your own garden!

  • Utilize kitchen economy with food scraps.

    • Use trimmings like broccoli stems, chicken bones, etc to make stock. Stock can be used for braising meat, mashed potatoes, stir fry, soups, and an infinite number of other delicious cooking uses!
